Eastern VS Western astrology

Why Jyotish?

I am an adherent of the Eastern Vedic astrology Jyotish. This is not predictive astrology, Jyotish allows you to find your own path, your self-realization.

🔷Western astrology uses the Sun sign of the Zodiac, which is tied to the vernal equinox (does not move), all dates of belonging to the signs of the zodiac are fixed.
🔹Uses 10 major planets, 2 orbit crossovers and small planets.
🔹 One house can be located in 3 constellations.
🔹 One natal map is being built.
🔹Interpretation through the aspects of the planets.

🔶Eastern astrology relies on the actual coordinates of the constellations, because the Universe is not static, it moves.
🔸Uses 7 planets and 2 lunar nodes.
🔸1 house = 1 constellation.
🔸You can build additional. 16 cards, but the most popular: Rashi, Navamsa, Nakshatra, Moon map and Sun map (for a detailed analysis of personality and behavior).
🔸Interpretation occurs through the yogas (connections) of the planets and through aspects.

For example:
According to Western astrology, I am a Taurus, no matter where and how, no matter at what point in time, by my date of birth I am a Taurus and that's it.

In accordance with the Jyotish, at the time of my birth, the sun and moon were in the constellation Aries, and the constellation Leo (my ascendant / lagna) rose on the eastern horizon. In this regard, in Eastern astrology, the Barnum effect can be excluded (when we read a generalized horoscope for only 12 signs of the zodiac and "pull" it over ourselves, thinking that it was written exclusively for you).

If you like to believe in predictive Western astrology - your right, perhaps for someone it works like an affirmation 😉
